[00:00:08] Speaker A: Welcome back to split decision. This week on episode 30, we're going to preview UFC Vegas 85, dolize versus emov. That's going to be for a chance to move up those middleweight rankings. From there, we're going to draft our top five teams, and then we're going to get into our first week of pick your own matchup. And then, as always, we'll get back into stakes and takes. That's going to be our betting segment where we give you our best kind of guests, if you will, for this week's matchups. But first, before that, don't forget to like and subscribe and head to splitdecisionpod.com, where you're going to see all of our podcasts, our top fives, previous graphics and more. Again, that is splitdecisionpod.com. All right, let's go. All right, let's jump straight into week one of our ten straight straight week of UFC fights. This is going to be exciting. [00:01:15] Speaker B: We go all the way to UFC 300, right? [00:01:17] Speaker A: Right. That's what I was going to say from UFC 285, which is this Saturday, all the way to UFC 300. I think there's only a one or two week break after that anyway, but I love the long stretches where we get kind of back into our groove of fighting. But as always, this one's going to take place in the main, in the apex. Kind of the best place, in my opinion, for fight nights. [00:01:37] Speaker B: I don't know. I'm wishing in 2024, the UFC would have made a resolution to move away from the apex. I love the live crowds. I'm kind of tired of these apex fights. Well, I think we're keeping them, though. [00:01:50] Speaker A: Maybe it's a scheduling thing where they can put so many together because they're in one place. [00:01:54] Speaker B: I don't know. [00:01:55] Speaker A: In that reason. I like it because we get more fights per year. And look, as always, we're going to cover the main card, and this week we have six main card fights for you. [00:02:05] Speaker B: Yeah, a little bit bigger of a main card. [00:02:07] Speaker A: Nothing got canceled, which is. I think they were almost banking still out, bro. I think they were almost banking for one. [00:02:14] Speaker B: You said that on a Wednesday. They're going to be. [00:02:17] Speaker A: Four of them are going to be canceled by the time we're done recording this. [00:02:20] Speaker B: But let's start with the main card opener. Gilbert Urbina, Charlie Radkey, the track, Buffalo and two Americans taking on each other. Seven and two. Urbina, eight and three. Radkey. How does this one looking for you, Alex? [00:02:36] Speaker A: Dude, Urbana's one and one. [00:02:38] Speaker B: In the UFC, did you see what Jimmy comes from? First fighter I've seen from this gym, officially? [00:02:45] Speaker A: No. What gym? [00:02:46] Speaker B: BMF ranch. That's cowboy Cerrone's gym. [00:02:48] Speaker A: Oh, cool. I didn't know that. [00:02:50] Speaker B: Yeah, I saw that, and I was like, wow, he's big, dude. [00:02:53] Speaker A: He's got, like, a three inch reach advantage. [00:02:55] Speaker B: He's six three against 510 strikes. [00:02:59] Speaker A: A lot. I know in the rankings how they do it is only in UFC fights, so he struck a lot in his two fights. [00:03:08] Speaker B: He hasn't been the most active guy, though. Like, his last fight was, I think, of May march last year. Yeah, and then before that, it was in 2021. He's not a guy that fights a lot, but it's interesting to see. And he's taking on Radky, who won and know in the UFC. So neither guy has a lot of experience UFC. [00:03:27] Speaker A: Right. He's got a unanimous decision win over Mike, but five straight wins total. Mathena. [00:03:32] Speaker B: Yeah, I think it was Mathena. [00:03:34] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:03:34] Speaker B: Five straight wins total. He's proven he can win anyway with three kos, three subs, three decisions. I mean, I think this is a good fight to open up the main court. It's going to be an exciting fight, and I think it's kind of a toss up. [00:03:48] Speaker A: I agree. I think the odds. I mean, you got Urbina with -210 ods and Radkey with plus 175. I think the ods should be a little bit closer on this matchup than the current lines, but I still think Urbana is going to win. I think that TKO victory kind of pumps him up, gets him into a better camp, kind of gets his mind right after coming off a loss. I think that's going to help him win this fight against Radkey. [00:04:16] Speaker B: And, you know, initially, I disagreed with you, but I think after reading, talking with you in the last 30 seconds about this fight, I think I got to go. Urbina, too. I think I agree with you. [00:04:29] Speaker A: Let's go. New Year's resolution. Let's stop thinking too much. [00:04:32] Speaker B: I think he's the young up and comer guy, even though he's. I mean, neither guy is really a vet, but he's a younger guy. I think he gets the dub. [00:04:41] Speaker A: Sweet. Look, let's move on to Aliskab Kisriv in the middleweight division. Look, this is another big 112, and he's putting on his undefeated ranking of five kos, four subs, three decisions against Makhmad Muradov. [00:04:56] Speaker B: But think about, he's undefeated. Kizraev, only one, and o in the UFC, he hasn't fought since March of 2022, so almost a two year layoff. [00:05:05] Speaker A: You're right. His one fight in the UFC is a rear naked choke over Dennis Talulin, which is cool. And you're right, that is in March 2022. Murdov is four and two in the. [00:05:16] Speaker B: UFC, 26 and eight overall. So he's fought a ton more than his career. [00:05:21] Speaker A: Yeah. And look, he sorts his finishes often. He's got 20 total finishes, 17 kos, three submissions, six decision victories in his own names. Kind of doing anything he's needed to win either way. [00:05:40] Speaker B: Yeah, and honestly, this is one looking at everything I'm kind of undecided on again, I had a pick coming in after doing a little research, after talking with you a little bit, I don't know about that pick anymore. [00:05:51] Speaker A: So, look, let me try to convince you. Kisriev, he's a southpaw. He's an engaging striker. And I think he's got the typical russian grappling. All right. Muradov is an orthodox striker. He's got power and solid ground game. I think on this one, I got to still go with Kisriev just because he's putting his undefeated on the line. He's twelve and favored when he's a minus on the ODS. He's twelve and O, brother. [00:06:24] Speaker B: He's twelve and overall. [00:06:26] Speaker A: Right. I don't think this is the time for a Russian to get upset against Newzbekistani. I don't think this is called Uzbeks. Uzbeks. Oh, nice. I didn't know that. Thank you for enlightening me, but I'm going to go with Alicia Kab Kisriev for my pick on this fight. [00:06:43] Speaker B: I think I got to agree with you too many times. I go against one of our first rules we had of, like, the muslim sounding russian guy. Never pick against him, even though he's fighting another muslim sounding guy. [00:06:56] Speaker A: But that's. I've been. [00:06:58] Speaker B: I gotta go russian. I got hisriev as well. So let's move on to the only woman fight of the night. [00:07:05] Speaker A: I would say women's flyweight. [00:07:09] Speaker B: Regardless, it's a civil war battle of two Brazilians. We got Natalie Silva, 16 and five, one draw. [00:07:18] Speaker A: I'll say one thing about a woman's fight, it's never civil. [00:07:22] Speaker B: True that, brother. Taking on Vivian. Arujo. Arujo. [00:07:28] Speaker A: I'll give you credit, VV. [00:07:30] Speaker B: She's twelve and five. Six and four in the UFC. Silva, four and O in the UFC. How do you see this fight going between the two brazilian women. [00:07:38] Speaker A: All right, so VV lost three of her last five fights. That's not just correct. Totally discredit her. [00:07:45] Speaker B: She lost against some Amanda Reebos, Alexa. [00:07:49] Speaker A: Grasso, Caitlin Chukukian, Chukagian. Sorry, again. I'm a white guy that can't pronounce anything, but she's lost to high level fighters. She's six and four in the UFC. But on the other hand, Silva's four and O in the UFC. She's got two ko victories, two decision victories. Vivi's last nine fights all went to decision. [00:08:15] Speaker B: I know, I saw that. [00:08:16] Speaker A: That's the one thing that hurts her, for me. Only when you're going up against somebody like Silva. [00:08:22] Speaker B: Silva, ten straight wins, and she's gotten UFC finishes. [00:08:26] Speaker A: Right. She's got five ko victories in her career, seven submission victories in her career. At least in the past five fights, she's gotten more. [00:08:34] Speaker B: There's a huge age gap in this, too. Silva, 26. Vivian vv, 37 years old. So you got to. [00:08:41] Speaker A: Did you already say that Silva is on a ten fight total win streak? [00:08:44] Speaker B: Ten fight total win streak. Four and O UFC? I think everything in this points to Silva getting a win, and I think she probably gets the finish, too. [00:08:52] Speaker A: You know, it's an interesting fact. I read Silva is four and O against southpaw fighters in the UFC. [00:09:00] Speaker B: Well, that means she's four and O overall in the UFC. [00:09:03] Speaker A: I know, but it's weird that she was booked against southpaws four times in a row, and then this is a fifth time. I think fifth time is a charm. She's going to win. I go with Natalia Silva to win the fight. As you said, the civil war. I agree, but it won't be civil. [00:09:18] Speaker B: All right, now let's take. We go to the next fight, not a civil war. A Jamaican taking on a Russian. We got Randy rude boy Brown, the giant for the division 63, taking on Muslim Solikov, king of kung fu. [00:09:32] Speaker A: That's a crazy nickname for when your real name is Muslim Solikov, and you're from Dagestan, and you're from Dagestan, and your nickname is the king of kung fu. [00:09:41] Speaker B: You're from Dagestan, you don't wrestle. [00:09:43] Speaker A: Look, I love it. Unanimous decision. Victory over Wellington termin was his last. [00:09:50] Speaker B: Fight for five UFC, but he's won four out of his last five. [00:09:54] Speaker A: He lands a lot of heavy strikes. [00:09:56] Speaker B: He's a big, long dude with a long reach. [00:09:59] Speaker A: And he didn't lose to no name guys. He lost to Jack Della Madelinea. Vincente Luque. I mean, he's not losing to anybody. I think, honestly, Randy Brown is like one solid camp away from being a true contender in the welterweight division. [00:10:18] Speaker B: He's all around good, because he can finish you on the ground, too. He chokes people out a good amount of times, but he's taking on Solikov, who's primarily a striker, right? Six and three in the UFC. He's lost two out of three, though, including his last fight in June against Nicholas Dalby. A unanimous decision. Right. As we said earlier, stand up guy from Dagestan. You don't always see that they're known for their elite wrestling. [00:10:42] Speaker A: See, two sub victories, though, it shows that he knows how to do it. He just doesn't lean on it. Yeah, but he's got 13 kos. Just showing that he loves to throw hands and the four decision kind of leans into that. He says he doesn't want to just go to the ground and do an arm bar or rear naked choke. He wants to fight. I think he's going to win. I think Muslim Sadakov is going to win. He's got three kos in the UFC and three decisions in the UFC. I truthfully think he's going to go in there with the intention of stopping Brown. The plus 210 ods on his name, I think are a heinous crime. [00:11:16] Speaker B: See, I disagree with you. I got rude boy, Randy Brown getting the dub. I think the length is going to be too much for Solikov and I think Brown is the better all around fighter. So I think Randy Brown, Jamaican, gets the w on Saturday. [00:11:30] Speaker A: I think either way, when I write the recap, it's going to be ridiculous to try to make a pun off of these nicknames. Rude boy and the king of kung Fu. All right, moving on. [00:11:40] Speaker B: Co main event. [00:11:41] Speaker A: Renato Carnero. Moicano is his nickname. [00:11:45] Speaker B: Moicano, better known. [00:11:47] Speaker A: Better known as Renato Morkino. Taking on the chin, the crimson chin. Drew Dober. He's a monster. Both guys are great. This is interesting. Renato Morkino comes in 17 and 510 submission victories, seven decisions, zero kos. Right? That's very interesting. He's like a Ben Askren type. He's not actually trying to fight, he's trying to wrestle. [00:12:11] Speaker B: I mean, he's fighting because he's choking guys out and getting finishes. [00:12:14] Speaker A: But lost five times in his career, three kos, one sub, one decision, nine and five UFC. [00:12:20] Speaker B: He's won three out of his last four, though. Last fight being in November of 2022. So he's taking quite a break, right, which was a round one choke out of Brad Riddell. [00:12:31] Speaker A: Drew Dober, 27 and twelve in his career, 14 kos, six subs, seven decisions. [00:12:38] Speaker B: I mean, Dober's won. He's 13 wins, eight losses, one draw in his UFC career. Four out of his last five fights have been w's, though. So he's kind of been on a good streak, a good run. And his last fight was an impressive round one victory, TKO. [00:12:56] Speaker A: So Dober has had some trouble. He's. He's lost four times to submission. That's only second to being like, he's only been knocked out twice. [00:13:06] Speaker B: His last five fights have all been Ko tkos. He lost one of those, but he's been on a different trajectory. Yeah, he's kind of turned a corner the past five fights. [00:13:17] Speaker A: Recently. I say recently to just kind of say, like, in the past few years, he's only been subbed to names like Islam Makachev and Benil Darush. [00:13:26] Speaker B: And even that was three, four years ago. [00:13:29] Speaker A: Right. So I think when this fight comes in, you got hands versus somebody who's going to heavily lean on his wrestling. Drew Dover knows how to wrestle. He's got six sub victories in his career. He can do it if he has to. So I think his defense with the power of his hands, I think that's playing directly into a Drew Dober knockout victory here. [00:13:51] Speaker B: I agree with you. I think he's going to be able to stuff a couple takedowns, get a good shot at Morcono's chin. I think he gets the knockout. I got Drew Dober. So let's move on. Last fight of the night, the main event, we got the caucasian Roman Dolize, taking on the frenchman, Nasserindi. [00:14:10] Speaker A: Is that how you say his first name, Nasserdine? [00:14:13] Speaker B: Nasserdin emovov imov. Not a typical french sounding name, but there you go. We got the Georgian taking on the frenchman, Dolizev, twelve and two, never been finished. Taking on Amavev, twelve and four. So two guys that have pretty good. [00:14:30] Speaker A: Records before Vittori de Lize was on a four fight win streak. Dolize, the only reason I say it like that is because. [00:14:45] Speaker B: He had three. [00:14:46] Speaker A: Kos in those four fight win streaks. [00:14:49] Speaker B: He was on his rise, and then he had a bad fight. So the question is, can he continue that? Is he going to pick off where that rise was or is this fight going to that loss going to derail him? [00:14:58] Speaker A: Well, he's six and two in the UFC, so it seems like he's done this twice he's gone on this kind of win streak, taking a nail winds. [00:15:06] Speaker B: Though, have been finishes TKO Kos. So it seems like he's not a guy. He's not going to play point fighting. He's going to go out there and try to knock you out. [00:15:15] Speaker A: Now, Im evolve is kind of the same way. He's four two and one in the UFC. He had a no contest to Chris Curtis. [00:15:20] Speaker B: He hasn't won in his last two fights. He hasn't got a dub with no contest and a loss to Sean Strickland right now. Here's Strickland's not a bad loss. [00:15:28] Speaker A: Here's my kind of. My right, I agree with that. My kind of thoughts are if everything's even on the ground between the Caucasian and Imov, if everything's even on the ground, who wins on the know, who wins in a fistfight, who wins in the ground exchange. You think it's de Lize? I think it's imovolve, actually. [00:15:50] Speaker B: I think Delize gets the win. I think the Georgian. [00:15:53] Speaker A: I think you're fucking stupid. [00:15:57] Speaker B: That was mean. [00:15:58] Speaker A: I'm just kidding. [00:16:00] Speaker B: He's six and two in the UFC. I know Imovov has four wins. I just think he's used to winning a little bit more in the UFC. I think he's going to pick up. Well, after that, it wasn't like he got knocked out cold where like, yeah. [00:16:12] Speaker A: The fight was stopped. [00:16:13] Speaker B: He gets fucked with you, you lost by decision. Yeah, I think he's going to come out, he's going to pick up where he left off. I think dolize gets a dough. [00:16:22] Speaker A: Well, that's interesting. I hope we. Well, neither one of us can go. Perfect. So we'll see how it goes with only two weeks left. [00:16:36] Speaker B: All right, so we're back at the apex this weekend, which means our top five doesn't have a theme to pick from. So we're kind of going out there. We decided on teams this week, so top five teams. This doesn't necessarily have to be sports teams. [00:16:48] Speaker A: I have a question. [00:16:50] Speaker B: Go ahead. [00:16:50] Speaker A: What constitutes a team in your mind? [00:16:53] Speaker B: I looked it up. It's a group of people. [00:16:55] Speaker A: Is there a certain amount? [00:16:56] Speaker B: No, I think probably more than two. [00:16:58] Speaker A: I was. [00:16:59] Speaker B: No, two is a team, though. You would consider that a team. But I think it's just a group of people working together towards the greater good. What is it? Some of the parts wait towards. [00:17:13] Speaker A: It has to be towards, like, good people. [00:17:15] Speaker B: No, for the team. [00:17:18] Speaker A: For the group. Parity. For the people. I got you. For the people involved? [00:17:22] Speaker B: You think I'm a square? [00:17:24] Speaker A: Look here, son. You square? [00:17:28] Speaker B: All right, so let's jump into this. I think you get the top pick this week. [00:17:33] Speaker A: I do. [00:17:35] Speaker B: You could go a lot of ways with this. [00:17:37] Speaker A: I think I'm going to. Man, you're right. There's a bunch of ways. You could go with this. You could go this, you could go that. I'm going to go full nerd. I'm going to go with the Avengers. You talk about go for the greater good. They're not going for the greater good of their team. They're going for the greater good of humanity. [00:18:00] Speaker B: Propaganda, bro. [00:18:02] Speaker A: Yeah, whatever. It's all fun to watch, too. It's entertaining. [00:18:05] Speaker B: It is very entertaining. It was on my list. I was only going to take it one despite you, but it was on my list. [00:18:12] Speaker A: If I did a heinous crime to. [00:18:13] Speaker B: You, it was on my list. [00:18:14] Speaker A: Yeah, I think the Avengers, I mean, it's solid entertainment. Solid comics still running. It's solid stuff. They all stand true. Good things and all that jazz. What's your number one? And then I guess you follow that. [00:18:29] Speaker B: Up with your avengers and raise you like a real life version of them. I have the allied powers in World War II. It's America, that's Britain, that's Russia, that's France. Beating the Nazis. What greater good is there than literally beating the Nazis? That's what the Avengers is based off of. Beating the Nazis. [00:18:48] Speaker A: That's definitely what Captain America was based off of. [00:18:50] Speaker B: I mean, it changed the whole world. [00:18:52] Speaker A: That's funny. That's a good. [00:18:53] Speaker B: Change the whole world for the greater good. [00:18:55] Speaker A: It's a very good pick. I have things. [00:18:57] Speaker B: I love history. I love World War II. I think it was a great team. Some people didn't hold up there into the bargain. Some people. [00:19:04] Speaker A: Like who? [00:19:05] Speaker B: We don't gag. [00:19:06] Speaker A: No, let's get into it a little bit. Who didn't hold up there? [00:19:09] Speaker B: The Americans came in and they got things done. We weren't the leaders, but we were, like, the guy that came off the bench that nobody knew about, and we're like, holy shit. And now he's the star. [00:19:21] Speaker A: Yeah, because we kind of, like, kept the peace in World War I, and then World War II, like you said, we just showed up and we're like, hey, shut the fuck up. We're doing this now. And we did it. Yeah, that's a good pick. What's your number two? [00:19:34] Speaker B: My number two? I didn't know where to go with this, because obviously there's a lot of good sports there's. A lot of other good non sports teams, but I'm going to go. [00:19:43] Speaker A: There is a lot of. [00:19:44] Speaker B: I'm going to go. The 1990s, Michael Jordan, Chicago Bulls, six titles. They made the NBA explode. Everybody knows Jordan. He has a popular shoe. I mean, the team, that's all he has. [00:19:58] Speaker A: He has a popular. [00:20:00] Speaker B: The whole brand. I meant, they're just like shoes that. [00:20:03] Speaker A: You can't even get anymore. It's ridiculous. [00:20:06] Speaker B: He started athletes having popular shoes. I mean, he is shoe industry. [00:20:14] Speaker A: Bulls on my list. So I'm going to just scratch that. [00:20:16] Speaker B: Yeah, I have the entire dynasty of those bulls on my list. That's my number two. I mean, I think it's the greatest, one of the best sports dynasties of all time, especially in our lifetime. [00:20:26] Speaker A: So there you go. Very solid. I have to agree. 90s bulls were nostalgic to say the very least. All right, number two for me, I'm going to see your number one with the Allied Powers taking a stand for real life justice. And I'm going to go with the team that led the Manhattan project. [00:20:51] Speaker B: I had that on my list. [00:20:52] Speaker A: The Manhattan project team led by one. Is it for the greater good? It was for the greater, our greater good. [00:20:58] Speaker B: You know, somebody, America's greater. John Stewart, he says, if you would have just dropped that off the coast like a hundred miles and been like, that's your warning, it probably would have worked, too. You didn't have to drop it on two cities. [00:21:11] Speaker A: Yeah, but the team didn't decide that, as we saw in the three hour movie. Yeah, that team was working for the greater good. That's what we're talking about. We're not talking about the government's change to the plan or they were talking about making it possible. The team did heavy work. Manhattan project team led by Oppenheimer. Great movie as well. Christopher Nolan goaded for sure. We got to do a top five directors or something one day or something like that. [00:21:41] Speaker B: That's hard. [00:21:42] Speaker A: Or something related. Yeah, but, yeah, Manhattan project is my number two. Number three. This is tough. I think I'm going to go with something that I'm going to go with my sports team here. Not my sports team, but the sports team. For my list, I'm going to go with the 92 to the 95 Cowboys. [00:22:06] Speaker B: I had them on my list. [00:22:08] Speaker A: The Troy Acman. [00:22:09] Speaker B: Of course you picked the Cowboys. [00:22:10] Speaker A: The Emmett Smith. Michael Irvin was a dynasty in its own right. They won a few Super Bowls together. [00:22:17] Speaker B: Three out of four. [00:22:19] Speaker A: It was quite a run. Hopefully the Cowboys fans never see it again. Shout out, dad. But yeah, the 92 to 95 Cowboys. I had those posters on my wall when I was a kid. They were pretty cool. [00:22:32] Speaker B: Yeah, that's not a bad pick. I mean, they were a lot like the 90s Bulls, except they didn't have that second three peat. [00:22:39] Speaker A: Right. Like another run. [00:22:41] Speaker B: They just didn't keep it. [00:22:41] Speaker A: Yeah, it's because Troy Aikman had too many concussions. [00:22:45] Speaker B: Yeah, but I mean, the cowboys, they were America's team. That's a good pick. Well, that's not when they became America's team. That's when they reemerged. [00:22:53] Speaker A: Yeah, I was reading today the 70s. [00:22:56] Speaker B: But that was when they reemerged. [00:22:58] Speaker A: Right. They got those titles in a row. It became a lot for them. All right, what you got for number three? And then your follow up for number four. [00:23:05] Speaker B: Oh, man. So this is where the rubber meets the road. Do I do another greater good pick? [00:23:11] Speaker A: If you were a rascal, flat would life be a highway right about now? [00:23:16] Speaker B: Do I do the greater good pick? [00:23:20] Speaker A: Everything's the greater good with how you explained it to me. [00:23:24] Speaker B: No, I meant greater good as in humanity, like how you meant it, not greater good as in the team. [00:23:30] Speaker A: Oh, well, you've already gone greater good in humanity. That's why I followed it up with humanity. [00:23:35] Speaker B: But do I do that or do I continue? [00:23:37] Speaker A: Well, brother, it's your list. I think you do what your heart says. [00:23:41] Speaker B: Greatest teams, this 1 may be controversial. Did they really do what they claim to have done? [00:23:49] Speaker A: If you say Nazi Germany, I'm going to be pissed. [00:23:52] Speaker B: No, I'm going to do the Apollo eleven team. [00:23:55] Speaker A: Oh, God damn. That's on my list. [00:23:57] Speaker B: Team that landed on the moon. Only controversial. [00:24:00] Speaker A: Of course. [00:24:01] Speaker B: I'm not picking the nazis. Chill out. Only controversial because there is skepticism whether they actually went to the moon. They have footage. They were jumping around all goofy. [00:24:12] Speaker A: Yeah. Being all yanked up on a wire, maybe. You never know. I don't know. [00:24:17] Speaker B: They figured out, I don't know what gravity feels like. That look like calculators or that were like the bandwidth of a calculator nowadays, and they sent somebody to the moon. [00:24:27] Speaker A: That's the thing that screws everybody up, is they say, oh, your phone has more power than the computers that send somebody to the room to the moon. Yeah, it has more power. It doesn't have the capability, though. That's the difference. It's a translation issue for most people. We also don't know what not gravity feels like. So you could move all may like. [00:24:47] Speaker B: You may look like you're on strings. [00:24:49] Speaker A: Yeah, you may I don't know. It may look like it's too dark to really exist, that it was filmed in Hollywood. I don't know. Once upon in Hollywood, once upon a time in Hollywood says things about somebody. [00:25:00] Speaker B: Made a good point that said, you ever notice we stopped doing cool shit once we started cracking down on smoking cigarettes? And I said, go look at the pictures of the Apollo eleven team and literally everybody's in there smoking a cigarette while they figure that shit out. Nicotine, brother. [00:25:15] Speaker A: At all times, I am bordering between going back to nicotine just at all. I'm teetering on the edge. [00:25:22] Speaker B: So Apollo eleven, that's my third pick, the moon landing team. I mean, I think that's hard to beat. [00:25:29] Speaker A: That's a tough. [00:25:29] Speaker B: So then I get my fourth toughie, fourth pick. [00:25:33] Speaker A: I know what your fourth pick is. [00:25:34] Speaker B: What do you think of my fourth? [00:25:36] Speaker A: I'm not going to say it because then is it the greatest college football. [00:25:39] Speaker B: Team of all time? Maybe it's the 2019 LSU. [00:25:43] Speaker A: I knew it was going to be. [00:25:43] Speaker B: The greatest college football team of all time. Joe Burrow. They beat the shit out of everybody. [00:25:48] Speaker A: You remember the stats. It was like 62 touchdown passes, like. [00:25:52] Speaker B: Five interceptions or something. [00:25:53] Speaker A: It was nothing. Just chunking it 70 yards down the field. No stride. [00:25:57] Speaker B: In the semifinal game, they were up like 49 to seven at halftime. Yeah, it's like seven touchdown passes. It was just a crazy year. [00:26:04] Speaker A: They won the national championship handily. Yeah. [00:26:07] Speaker B: They beat the shit out of Clemson. Only close games were they were blowing out Alabama. Let Alabama come back that season, got. [00:26:15] Speaker A: Me into college football and paved the way towards this podcast because it made me force myself to get interested in things that I wasn't used to. [00:26:23] Speaker B: I mean, it was just a great season. It was a magical season, especially if you're a fan. So the 2019 LSU Tigers, best college football team of all time. That's my fourth pick. [00:26:32] Speaker A: That's solid. I like that pick. I'm going to go with greater good for my fourth pick. Greater, greater good. The emergency response team. Like lame firefighters, lame paramedics, the dude. [00:26:52] Speaker B: You went to high school with. [00:26:54] Speaker A: Oh, you're right. Damn backpedal. [00:26:59] Speaker B: I'm going to go with the hand is off the chest piece. [00:27:01] Speaker A: Fire trucks and police officers, EMTs, emergency response teams. Because if you get into fucking trouble and you call the cops and they don't show up, you might be dead, homie. So I don't care if you think it's lame or not. You need them. I'm doubling down. EMTs fired people, police people weren't you. [00:27:24] Speaker B: Screaming, defund the police? [00:27:26] Speaker A: No, never. Not in recording, anyway. Never. No. Emergency response teams, for sure. [00:27:33] Speaker B: Yeah. I appreciate what they do. That's a lame pick. Whatever. [00:27:37] Speaker A: I hope they don't answer your call next time you need something then. Should have put them on my list. Hey. You should have put you on my list. [00:27:45] Speaker B: All right, so what's your fifth and final pick? [00:27:48] Speaker A: Here's the question. Do you go real? Do you go not? Do you go serious? What do you do? What do you do? Who are you going to call? [00:28:07] Speaker B: The Ghostbusters. [00:28:09] Speaker A: You might. They're iconic. They're coming out with a new movie. [00:28:14] Speaker B: Oh, did I just ruin your little lead in? [00:28:16] Speaker A: No, but I think I'm going to go with the Ghostbusters. [00:28:21] Speaker B: Okay. [00:28:21] Speaker A: Spanning four generations. [00:28:25] Speaker B: That includes the woman's Ghostbusters. [00:28:27] Speaker A: It does. That led into the new men's Ghostbusters. [00:28:32] Speaker B: Please. We got to bring back the thing that works. [00:28:34] Speaker A: Bill Murray coming back, Dan Aykroyd. Dan Aykroyd coming back. Dan Aykroyd. [00:28:39] Speaker B: Crazy man. I think it's Paul Rudd. He's in the movie. [00:28:41] Speaker A: Paul Rudd's in it, too. I love Paul Rudd, dude. Ghostbusters is a great team. They're going for the greater good of their team, which at the end of the day is like nothing. It's just like value of entertainment. Just having a good time. The fifth pick is just fun. Ghostbusters. Who are you going to call? I wish I could call them. That would be cool, actually. [00:29:03] Speaker B: I wouldn't want to deal with ghosts, though. [00:29:06] Speaker A: It would be interesting weekend. It would be if you only have to do it like once. All right, what's your last pick? [00:29:13] Speaker B: All right, so my last pick. I'm going to pick. I did a little guest pick. [00:29:18] Speaker A: Guest pick. I need to do one of those. [00:29:20] Speaker B: I asked somebody top five or like favorite team? They gave me their favorite team. [00:29:24] Speaker A: Team of what? Oh, wait, I just said the top five. I'm sorry, I'm an idiot. [00:29:28] Speaker B: I said favorite team. That's what they said. [00:29:30] Speaker A: Who'd you ask? Are you shouting out? [00:29:32] Speaker B: Yeah, ask Clara, my girlfriend. She's French. [00:29:36] Speaker A: She's real French. [00:29:37] Speaker B: Very real French. So this kind of pick makes sense. So my number five pick is the french national football team. Two time World cup winners, some of the best players of all time. Zenadit, Zedan, Thierry Henri. [00:29:51] Speaker A: You told me about tiarian re before Keelian Mbappe. [00:29:54] Speaker B: All French. All have won World Cups with France. That's a good pick. [00:30:00] Speaker A: A celebrity pick, if you will. [00:30:02] Speaker B: Celebrity pick. Put out some of the best talent in all world football. French national team. My fifth overall pick. [00:30:08] Speaker A: That's a good pick. [00:30:11] Speaker B: So that wraps up top five favorite teams. So to sum it up, my number one. Wrap it. Sum it up. I can't wrap, so I'm just going to sum it up. [00:30:21] Speaker A: That's a better way to do it. [00:30:23] Speaker B: My number one pick was the allied Powers World War II. [00:30:26] Speaker A: Shout out USA. [00:30:28] Speaker B: Shout out, USA. Number two pick is the 1990s Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls. Number three pick is the Apollo eleven moon landing mission. Fourth pick, the 2019 greatest college football team of all time, LSU Tigers. Fifth pick, the french national football team. [00:30:45] Speaker A: Brother, I'm just happy to live in a world where all five of those things can be on one list. [00:30:49] Speaker B: Me too, brother. [00:30:51] Speaker A: My number one pick for the top five teams were the Avengers. Number two is the Manhattan project team. Number three is the 92 to 95 cowboys. Shout out dad. Number four is emergency response teams. Shout out lame. And number five, my final pick, is going to be the Ghostbusters. Because who else could you call? [00:31:19] Speaker B: All right, so with no football this week, we're going to move on to a slightly new segment, sad face emoji, similar to the football segment where we talk about games makes picks, but this one's going to be about other sports and we're going to have a little twist to it where we bring our own picks. So how do you want to call this? Pick your own pick. Bring your own pick. [00:31:38] Speaker A: Pick your own pick. I like that. [00:31:40] Speaker B: Pick your own play. [00:31:41] Speaker A: Pick your own play. [00:31:42] Speaker B: Something like that. So we're going to each bring pyop this week. It'll be four different games, different matchups, different picks we're willing to make for the week. Doesn't have to be the same. Can be the same, but it's going to count towards our picks record. It could be any sport. It could be anything you want as. [00:32:00] Speaker A: Long as it's playing within the specified date range. [00:32:03] Speaker B: Yeah. Which would be before next Tuesday. Before next Monday. [00:32:06] Speaker A: Right. Finished by the end of Monday. I would say just as a maximum because sometimes we do cover those Monday night games. [00:32:13] Speaker B: Correct. So let's jump into it. You want to give your first pick. [00:32:18] Speaker A: All right. First one's going to hit a little close to home for me. And then a little bit further away from home, it's going to be the. [00:32:25] Speaker B: Pelicans at the Spurs NBA game. This is on Saturday, correct? [00:32:31] Speaker A: Yeah, I think this 1, February 3. Yeah, February 3. Pelicans are going to play the Rockets before the spurs on. Oh, you know what? [00:32:38] Speaker B: This is actually on Friday. This is games on Friday. [00:32:41] Speaker A: Yeah, this one's on Friday because they're going to play the Rockets tomorrow, which, because today's Wednesday. Playing the Rockets tomorrow. Spurs on Friday. So they're three and five against the spread, and Zion, as usual, is fucking hurt. [00:32:57] Speaker B: I think he's not projected to play in this game. [00:32:59] Speaker A: He's not projected to play against the Rockets. They don't have anything to say against the spurs yet. [00:33:04] Speaker B: Yeah, but they take time off, too. I think he'll probably be good for Friday. Pelicans. This is actually one of my picks, too, so I'm going to jump in. I have a few facts for the game. Cool. Pelicans have won the two matchups this season, December 1 and December 17. [00:33:20] Speaker A: I mean, spurs, both times I kind of expect them to win because the spurs are ten and 37. [00:33:25] Speaker B: Ten and 37. But they've won out of the last five. They've won two of them. They were winning tonight as we were speaking. Wimby has been going off. He's been as advertised. They're going to build a team around him. [00:33:36] Speaker A: He really has. He's been flexible. Not spraining in the ankle like everybody thought he was just going to come out and just be wrecked. [00:33:42] Speaker B: The pells, they've been. I mean, they're right in the thick of things in the NFC, in the. I just think there's a five seed. They're going on the road, though. You always got to wonder when teams go on the road in the NBA. It's just something about it. [00:33:55] Speaker A: Yeah, you get that kind of road discount. [00:33:57] Speaker B: But I think the Pelicans, as you said, the spurs just aren't a very good team. They have one very good player and then maybe some not so very good players. They probably have a few other good players, but they're taking on a Pelicans team that's just a better team. [00:34:12] Speaker A: They are a better know. You got Brandon Ingram, you got Zion. [00:34:15] Speaker B: You got CJ McCullum. [00:34:17] Speaker A: Win healthy, they're going to perform. But the Pelicans just piss me off when they do this thing where they keep losing games they should win and then winning games that they have no business winning. [00:34:27] Speaker B: I mean, it's the NBA regular season. There's no game. Everything could be a win. Everything could be a loss. I got the Pelicans winning the game, though. [00:34:34] Speaker A: I also have the Pelicans, although I could easily see Wimbin Yana do that thing with the spark in the offense where it shows hope that the team's going to be good. [00:34:46] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:34:47] Speaker A: And that they will probably be good long term. But I still have the Pelicans winning. [00:34:52] Speaker B: Nice pick. I got one more pick for Friday. This actually is an NBA game. It's a german soccer Bundesliga game. [00:34:59] Speaker A: Bundeslig. [00:35:00] Speaker B: Bundeslig. We got Bruce Adortman coming in. They're fourth place in the league right now. Ten wins, six draws, three losses. Or it might be opposite. It might be ten wins, six losses, three draws. Fair, 36 points. [00:35:15] Speaker A: They probably do. Their record. [00:35:16] Speaker B: It is weird. It's six draw, ten wins, six draws, three losses. Coming in in fourth place. Taking on Heidenheim. [00:35:23] Speaker A: Heidenheim. [00:35:24] Speaker B: Heidenheim. Coming in in 10th place, six wins, five draws, eight losses. [00:35:30] Speaker A: So who do we know on this team? [00:35:32] Speaker B: Dortmund. [00:35:33] Speaker A: They have. [00:35:33] Speaker B: Well, they just loaned out one of the best young american players, Gio Reyna. You're probably not going to know anybody on the team that's fair. Now they're semi big team, though. [00:35:44] Speaker A: Sometimes I just talk to you for football advice on the ground. Football, if you will, the soccer. If I'm not being disrespectful by saying that sometimes I ask you for advice. So if, like a gambling man, what am I saying for goals here? Is this like an over under type of match? Because those are the things that interest me. [00:36:07] Speaker B: Bundesliga typically is higher scoring, but I assume. I didn't look at the over, but I assume that means the overs are probably a little higher. Okay, so I don't know, it could be. Dortmund is kind of a free flowing team. As I said, fourth place, first, 10th place. Dortmund plus 14 in goal differential. So overall in the season they've scored 14 more goals than they've let up. Heidenheim is minus seven. I think Dortmund is just a better team. Anything can happen in this game. They drew the first time they played, which was in September this year. Two. Two. I think Dortmund finds a way. I think Dortmund gets the win. I think they're the better team. So that's my pick. The Brucia Dortmund Bundesliga game, February 2. [00:36:49] Speaker A: I'd follow you blindly into that one just because you know way more about it than I do my next one. I think I'm going to go all. [00:36:56] Speaker B: NBA here just because I got no more NBA. [00:37:01] Speaker A: I don't follow a whole bunch of college sports and I know I need to. That's everybody's like bread and butter. And my thing's just all like paying attention to professionals. Because to me that's where everything matters. I got the Bucks at the Mavericks. [00:37:15] Speaker B: Good game. [00:37:16] Speaker A: Two decent teams where you got Kyrie. He's been out for like five straight games with sprained thumb. [00:37:21] Speaker B: Yeah, but then Luca's been scoring 70 points. [00:37:24] Speaker A: And then Lucas out tonight and tomorrow with the sprained ankle. So you don't even know if he's going to play. [00:37:30] Speaker B: It's really just a rest game. [00:37:32] Speaker A: Yanis is going to do his thing. You know that. [00:37:34] Speaker B: They got Dame Lillard, too. [00:37:35] Speaker A: They got Lillard. [00:37:37] Speaker B: Just fired their coach and hired another coach even though they're in place in the east. [00:37:41] Speaker A: See, I was going to say that not Giannis is the fault of their losses this season. Their coaching was the problem. [00:37:47] Speaker B: They're second place in the east. [00:37:49] Speaker A: Why'd they fire their coach? [00:37:51] Speaker B: That's what. Everybody was surprised. Then they hired Doc Rivers. [00:37:54] Speaker A: I mean, I guess you fire him just to hire him. [00:37:56] Speaker B: Yeah, but I mean, doc's a good coach, but I don't think he's that kind of. [00:37:59] Speaker A: If her. If Luca and Kyrie are both mean. I think the Mavs are the more vulnerable team here either way. So I think even with Luca and Kyrie in, I think the Bucks are going to win just because Giannis, when he needs to, can step up and be the mean. He is a playmaker every game. [00:38:16] Speaker B: Where's the game at? In Dallas. [00:38:18] Speaker A: It's in Dallas. [00:38:19] Speaker B: It makes it tough. But I would pick the Bucks in that game, too. [00:38:22] Speaker A: Now I think one of the two, I think Luca or Kyrie, one of the two are going to be out. Maybe Kyrie's back. Maybe Luca has to sit. Either way, if you have Seth Curry getting all the playtime, I think it's definitely the Bucks. [00:38:35] Speaker B: Seth Curry's been a starter. [00:38:37] Speaker A: No, I think he's good. I just think if you're facing Seth Curry versus ricochet shots at Seth Curry, I like him. I just think if you're facing a Yanis Bucks team, you're not going to win. [00:38:49] Speaker B: All right, so my next pick I'm bringing to the table is a top ten college basketball matchup on Saturday. Top ten big twelve matchup. [00:38:56] Speaker A: What does that mean? [00:38:57] Speaker B: That's just a conference. [00:38:58] Speaker A: Okay? [00:38:59] Speaker B: That has like 1718 teams. [00:39:01] Speaker A: So twelve means nothing. [00:39:03] Speaker B: It did at one point like 20 years ago. [00:39:05] Speaker A: Okay, so falsified misinformation. Now information. [00:39:09] Speaker B: Well, they made their whole branding and they switched teams and like, fuck, we. [00:39:12] Speaker A: Got to pay a new graphic guy. But he already made the outline on the two. [00:39:18] Speaker B: It's in roman numerals, but that's even worse. The logo for the conference is still like xii. Oh, God. But big twelve matchup number four. Big twelve is probably the best basketball conference. College of basketball. But number four Houston Cougars. Number eight, Kansas Jayhawks in Kansas. Houston 19 and two overall. Six and two in the big twelve. Kansas 17 and four, five and three in the big twelve. In their last five, Houston's won all five. Kansas has been up and down, alternating wins, losses. This is their first meeting as big twelve opponents. This is Houston's first year in the big twelve. I think these are the two best teams in the conference. Two of the best teams in the nation. I think Houston goes in the fall gallon fieldhouse, one of the hardest place to play in college of basketball. I think Houston gets the win they've been over the past five years. One of the best programs in college basketball. [00:40:09] Speaker A: Damn. [00:40:10] Speaker B: Houston Cougars. [00:40:12] Speaker A: Let me write that down. Houston Cougars. What's their phone number? Oh, I'm sorry. [00:40:20] Speaker B: Two. A 133-08-0040. [00:40:23] Speaker A: Jesus. Yeah. Houston Cougars. That sounds like everything you said makes me just want to agree with you, because I didn't. [00:40:30] Speaker B: Kansas is the traditionally better team. [00:40:33] Speaker A: I mean, I do have a couple Kansas sweatshirts. Mean, if you're getting Kansas sweatshirts in the mail, you know, they're. I mean, that's. That's kind of what you have to. [00:40:43] Speaker B: Mean as long as they're not arriving by. [00:40:47] Speaker A: I, uh. I like that. This pick your own pick thing is kind of cool. My next one's going to be another NBA game. I've fully decided. I got two picks left. I'm going both NBA. Just because I'm too scared to go with the pebble beach event. I think it's risky as long as. [00:41:05] Speaker B: You admit you're scared. [00:41:06] Speaker A: I am scared. And you know what they say, scared money don't make money. So I'm going to go with the Lakers losing to the lit. [00:41:14] Speaker B: But that would imply right now you're playing scared because you're scared of that. That would mean you would bet the thing you're scared about. [00:41:20] Speaker A: Oh, God. [00:41:21] Speaker B: But you said it already. [00:41:23] Speaker A: Is this a time loop, groundhog Day situation? I think the Lakers are going to lose at the Knicks this weekend. This is a Saturday matchup. The Lakers are coming in the favorite. [00:41:33] Speaker B: Winning country is a big deal. [00:41:35] Speaker A: Five of their last five games. That's a big deal, too. Winning your last five is tough. LeBron has also been out with an ankle injury. He'll be in for the game. It's no big deal there. They're playing at Madison Square Garden. Like you said, it is a tough matchup going across country, but the Lakers are three of five against the spread in Madison Square Garden. So it seems like they're getting the on the road discount this week. But I still think the Knicks are going to come out and play strong, think they're going to play hard. Kawhi, James Harden, Westbrook. This isn't the playoffs we're talking about, so they're going to come out and play very well. [00:42:18] Speaker B: That's the Clippers. [00:42:19] Speaker A: You just, I'm sorry, I was thinking of the other team. I had the other one below it, the Knicks. My B. [00:42:25] Speaker B: It's like, when did they play for the Knicks? [00:42:28] Speaker A: Julius Randall yeah, I think the Knicks are going to come out and it's even against a powerful, fully healthy Lakers team. [00:42:37] Speaker B: Lakers aren't that good of a team. [00:42:38] Speaker A: They're not that good of a team this year. I think Braun's just trying to hold on for his kid and I guess that's a sneak peek to my next pick where we'll be talking about the Clippers. [00:42:47] Speaker B: Yeah, I guess you gave away your last pick. God, my last pick, though, is going to be back to college basketball. Biggest and best rivalry in college basketball. The number seven Duke Blue Devils going to Chapel Hill to take on the number three North Carolina. Tar Hills Carolina comes in 17 and four, nine and one ACC. They were undefeated. They lost that upset last night by Georgia Tech, one of the lower teams in the league, taking on Duke, who's won four out of five first meeting this year. I mean, these games are usually pretty epic. Anything can happen. I think the home court advantage and just UNC being the better team, in my opinion, I think that's going to prevail. I got the Tar Heels beating their archival the Blue Devils, the Tar heels. [00:43:33] Speaker A: Over the Blue Devils. Do you know who the Clippers are playing this weekend? [00:43:38] Speaker B: I did not see. [00:43:40] Speaker A: They're playing the Heat and as sucking as I misspoke previously Kawhi Westbrook and Harden are not in the playoffs currently, so they are currently going to be playing fire. They're always good when they're not playing in the playoffs. At least Harden is. They're 30 and 15. It's a pretty solid. [00:44:05] Speaker B: Are you trying to do something right there? [00:44:06] Speaker A: I don't know. Just thinking. I know that Harden is good when he's not playing in the playoffs. [00:44:13] Speaker B: Typically, yeah, but he hasn't been good. [00:44:16] Speaker A: Not great this season. Not great this season. 30 and 15 is the Clippers records. They've been pretty good. Jimmy Butler is back, so I think he's adjusting to being back on the court, having to play the minutes and everything. He's back off the injury. He's adjusting well. He's starting to shoot a little bit more. I think the Clippers are going to win. Heater 24 and 23. So they're winning one in one. Pretty much outside of that. Yeah. Clippers are going to win. Yeah. [00:44:48] Speaker B: So to recap, my four picks that I'm bringing to the table this week, I'm going the Pelicans. Pelicans over the spurs on Saturday. I got on Friday, Barusia Dortmund over Heidenheim. I'm sorry, the Pelicans games on Friday. [00:45:05] Speaker A: Friday, yeah. [00:45:06] Speaker B: Then on Saturday, I got the number four Houston Cougars beating the number eight Kansas Jayhawks. My last pick. Also on Saturday night, number three, UNC beating number seven, Duke. [00:45:16] Speaker A: Nice. I got the Bucks beating the Mavericks, the Knicks beating the Lakers. Like you, I have the Pelicans beating the spurs, and I have the Clippers beating the Heat. Welcome back to stakes and takes. And I have to say, time is running out. We have two weeks left of this season, two weeks left to decide who is the winner of the inaugural season and who is the loser. There's only two of us, so it has to be one. It has to be the other. We're currently at a standings. [00:45:54] Speaker B: It's pretty close. [00:45:55] Speaker A: It's been close all season. [00:45:57] Speaker B: Remarkably close. [00:45:58] Speaker A: 198, 104 and four for myself. 199, 103 and four for you. So we're one apart in picks. [00:46:05] Speaker B: So a big week for one of us where the other one doesn't do as well. [00:46:10] Speaker A: Could put it out of reach. Could. [00:46:11] Speaker B: Yeah, could win it. [00:46:13] Speaker A: Christian, you're 199, 103 and four in bets. I'm 83, 58 and four. Christian, you're 85, 58 and two. It's been a good season. We've focused a lot. We've run it up. We've done what we had to do. Like I said, two weeks left. It's the final countdown. It's time to pick. [00:46:40] Speaker B: Think. So? What do you have for bets this week? [00:46:45] Speaker A: For your bets this week. [00:46:46] Speaker B: So I got three UFC bets. And then with football scrambling without football scrambling, so I got two soccer bets. The other kind of football, I went. [00:46:54] Speaker A: With four UFC and one NBA basketball. [00:46:58] Speaker B: So my first UFC, I got rude boy Randy Brown. Moneyline at -260 next UFC, I got. How do you say his name? Hisriev. Hisriev. [00:47:11] Speaker A: Kisriev. [00:47:12] Speaker B: Kisriev. I got his moneyline. -170 then I got Doleze his money plus 140. [00:47:22] Speaker A: Look, I don't have the same picks, but I have to say, I see where you get each of them. Even though I don't agree with all of them, I understand where you're coming from. I also have Kizriev moneyline -170 I took Natalia Silva. She seems like she's going to be kind of a killer in this fight over vv. [00:47:49] Speaker B: I like that pick. [00:47:51] Speaker A: Think she's going to just kind of sweep it. Probably a knockout in my opinion, which are fun to see in the women's flyweight division or any women's division, but especially the flyweight division. I got Drew Dober of money line, the iron chin. I think it's hard to knock him out and with the guy like he's facing zero knockout victories. I think Drew Dober is going to go in and just put in some work then to counteract your deletes a pick. I have Imamov winning. [00:48:18] Speaker B: So we got some different ones there. [00:48:20] Speaker A: Different ones there. And then my MMov money line, by the way, sorry, is -170 no problem. [00:48:26] Speaker B: My two non mma bets, right, as I said, were soccer bets. I got one of the games I talked about already. I got the Dortmund Moneyline. Brucie Dortmund. -135 then on Sunday, Arsenal play Liverpool. I got the Arsenal Moneyline plus 110 over Liverpool. [00:48:44] Speaker A: So if Arsenal is plus 110, does that mean Liverpool is the favorite or is it a matchup where they are close? [00:48:50] Speaker B: Liverpool is the favorite, but that wouldn't necessarily mean it. But in this case it does. [00:48:54] Speaker A: Okay, that was what I was asking. Because I know a lot of soccer or football games, it doesn't mean that it's the favorite. Where they could both be plus ods. Yes, because it might be a draw favorite or something like that. Pregame. That's why I was do. I've seen Arsenal play a couple matches this year. If I'm going to be pc, it's. [00:49:12] Speaker B: A big game too, because they're playing the top team in the league right now. [00:49:15] Speaker A: Can they beat them? [00:49:16] Speaker B: They can. [00:49:17] Speaker A: I mean, I know you believe in them. [00:49:18] Speaker B: No, they legit can. [00:49:19] Speaker A: Good. [00:49:20] Speaker B: They drew earlier this year. [00:49:21] Speaker A: Oh, well, that means that you're one goal away from winning. [00:49:23] Speaker B: If you. Three weeks ago. [00:49:24] Speaker A: What do you have for your upset? [00:49:26] Speaker B: My upset is actually one of your bets. Like a Drew Dober money line plus 155. [00:49:31] Speaker A: Yeah, I feel like that's a steal. I think I'm going to bet heavy on that one. I might go up a couple of units just to bet on that one because I don't see a way he loses as the underdog in this fight. My upset is Nassim Salakov. I think he's or Muslim Salakov. [00:49:48] Speaker B: Sorry? [00:49:49] Speaker A: Muslim Salakov. I think he's going to win. He's the underdog on the fight here, but I think with his striking prowess, I think he's going to have what it takes to counteract the ODS against him. [00:50:02] Speaker B: All right, so that wraps up episode 30 of split decision. Check us out next week where we're going to recap. UFC Vegas 85. Look ahead. The UFC Vegas 86, Piper Hermanson. And have a Super bowl preview. [00:50:15] Speaker A: Super bowl. It's.
